Last night when my crochet window of opportunity opened up… (My 2-3 Hour Crochet time…) I sat down once again thinking about what to make…  I realized this weekend was the Blackberry Festival/ Car Show in our little town… And I thought I better get a couple more items in the shop to sell…  Something quick… Ok another owl hat!  Super easy and fun to make…

One Eyed Monster…

Like I said yesterday… The Owl Hat Pattern is from Repeat Crafter Me... I love her stuff… And, the Monster Hat was also inspired from her picture of a monster hat… I didn’t follow her pattern,,, I just made up my own… But… It is almost exactly the same… So credit to Repeat Crafter Me for her design ideas!!!!

.

Lots of fun and I intend to make many more monsters…  Here are a few more pics…

3-6  Month Size Owl Hat…Lavender and White

Also off the hook and to my Etsy Shop... Another Soft and Stylish Cowl…  I now have the pattern worked out and should have this FREE Pattern ready to post in the next couple days…  It is also really beautiful and very quick to work up… This Cowl was made using a slightly less bulky yarn Rated a (5) in yarn thickness,,, The previous Cowl’s were made using a (6),,, I actually like the Cowl’s that had the thickest yarn… They were way more “plush”… But, this is beautiful and I would wear it this fall!!

New Crochet Cloche… The Sadie!

.

Out of my sketch book and on to my hook!  This weekend my first dream hat pattern came to life… I’m calling it Sadie (A turn of the century family name),,, Sadie is a 1920’s inspired Cloche…  In honor of my Grandmother, Beatrice Ryan Ramshaw!  I dream of her wearing something like this as a young woman to a party or dance… And the colors,,, A Sea Spray Blue… This floods back memories of her,,, She drove a 1970 Sea Spray Colored Cadillac… Some of the best childhood memories were with her driving  and my cousin and I sliding across the back seats of that Cadillac,,, Power window and plenty of room for my cousin and I to have tons of girl fun while driving through town with Bea!!!  And who could pass up a purple hat… My favorite color as a girl,,, And of course she painted my childhood room for me in a great shade of purple!

.

So are you ready to see Sadie??  Here are the first two Sample Hats…
