This Boho Green Crochet Table Centerpiece is a free crochet pattern. So easy to make using worsted weight cotton yarn! And a bonus… See Below!
Whether you want to use it as a large doily/centerpiece, a placemat or decoration… This Boho Green Table Centerpiece works up in just a couple of hours and uses one skein of cotton yarn! I would rate the skill level at easy/intermediate and it is written in US Crochet Terms.
Also, you could make this using the recommended cotton yarn or any yarn you have in your stash. Size may vary depending on your yarn and tension. This project works best if blocked.. and I added a little spray starch to give it extra body.

Large Centerpiece 18″ – Smaller Doily 10″ this also will depend on your tension and the yarn you use.

Large Centerpiece was made using:
Yarn: I Love This Cotton in Sage. #4 Worsted Weight 180 yds ea – Hook: Size E
Smaller Doily was made using:
Yarn: Hobby Lobby Artieste Cotton Crochet #5 Thread in Natural 370 yds ea(only used a small portion approx. 55 yds) Hook: Size #1 – 2.25 metal

- Trpl Dec – Triple Decrease: Yo, insert hook in 1st st, pull up loop, insert in 2nd st, pull up loop, insert in 3rd st, pull up loop, yo, draw thru all 5 loops on hook
- V St – Dc, Ch 1 Dc in st or sp
Instructions
You will be working in the round and not turning at the end of rounds
Round 1: Ch 5(counts as beginning ch that you work sts into a dc + ch 1), *dc in beginning ch(1st ch), ch 1*, repeat *to* 6 more times, join tot he 4th ch of the beginning 5 chs(this will leave 1 unworked ch that counts as a ch 1 sp). = 8 dc & 8 ch 1 sp
Round 2: Sl st in next ch 1 sp, ch 3(counts as dc now and throughout), 2 more dc in same sp, ch 1, * 3 dc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1*, repeat *to* 6 more times, join with sl st to top of beginning ch 3. =24 dc & 8 ch1 sp
Round 3: Ch 3, dc in next 2 sts, *ch 2, sk ch 1 sp, dc in next 3 sts*, repeat *to* 6 more times, ch 2, join with sl st to top of ch 3. = 24 dc & 8 ch2 sp
Round 4: Sl st over to ch 2sp, (ch 3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in ch2 sp, * ch 5, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next ch2 sp*, repeat *to* 6 more times, ch 5, join with sl st to top of ch 3. = 8 (2dc, ch1,2dc) * 8 ch5 sp
Round 5: Sl st over to ch 1 sp, (ch 3, dc, ch1, 2 dc) in sp, *ch 2, 3 trc around ch5 into the middle dc below in row 3(this should encapsulate the ch5), ch 2, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next ch1 sp*, repeat *to* 6 more times, ch 2, 3 trc as before in middle st of row 3, ch 2, join with sl st to top of ch 3. = 8(2dc,ch1,2dc), 16 ch2, 8 3trc groups
Round 6: Sl st over to ch 1 sp, (ch 3, dc, ch1, 2 dc) in sp, *ch 1, 2dc in next st, trc in next st, 2 dc in next st, ch 1, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next ch 1 sp*, repeat *to* 6 more times, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, trc in next st 2 dc in next st, ch 1, join with sl st to top of ch 3. = 8 (2dc,ch1,2dc), 8 trc & 24 ch 1

Round 13: Ch 3, *(5 dc, trc around ch into V st, 5dc) in ch 12 sp, dc in next sc*, repeat *to* around, join with sl st to top of ch 3. = 176 dc & 16 trc
Round 14: Ch 2(counts as hdc), hdc in next 5 sts, *2 hdc in next trc, hdc in next 11 sts*, repeat *to* around, 2 hdc in last trc, hdc in last 5 sts, join with sl st to top of ch 2. = 208 hdc
Finish off and weave in ends securely
Blocking
For best results the Boho Green Crochet Table Centerpiece or Doily should be blocked. Here is what I did.
Using hot water, I got the project evenly wet, laid it out on a towel into a nice shape and rolled it up, squeezed it to get the majority of the water out.
Next, I sprayed both sides with the starch spray mentioned in the supply list and lightly squeezed it in to the piece.
Lastly, I placed the piece on my blocking mat and using the pins about 1/2″ apart around the outer edge, I shaped it into a nice circle.
