Coffee and Cream Poncho CAL… Week 1
Are you ready to start your Coffee and Cream Poncho… Over the next 3 weeks we will work our way through this really fun and easy pattern together… Each week I will post a section of the free pattern and at the end…Voila~ you will have a beautiful poncho to wear or give as a gift!

For this CAL… My daughter asked for one of the Coffee and Cream Ponchos… She wanted it in a slightly different color scheme… So for this CAL I am using the following Chic Sheep Yarn by Red Heart in the following colors..
Color A~Lace
Color B~Linen
Color C~Suede

General Pattern Information~
Gauge:
Double Crochet 3″ x 3″ = 10 stitches x 5 rows
Stitches:
St – Stitch
Ch – Chain
Sp – Space
Sk – Skip
Sl St – Slip Stitch
Sc – Single Crochet
Dc – Double Crochet
Trc – Treble Crochet
Rev Sc – Reverse Single Crochet
V St – V Stitch (2 dc in one stitch)
Size:
30″ Neckline to tip, 36″ from Elbow to Elbow Edges

Color A
Ch 72, join to form ring(being careful not to twist)
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in 1st st, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 35 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in last 34 sts, join with sl st to beginning sc. = 76 sc
Row 2: Ch 3(counts as dc now and throughout), dc in same st, sk st, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in next st, *sk st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat *to* 17 more times, sk st, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next st, repeat *to* 17 times, sk st, join with sl st to top of beginning ch 3. = 40 V sts & 2 ch1 space
