Thick & Quick Bumpy Scrubby ~ Free Crochet Pattern!! Are you ready for a quick  crochet project??  Here is a super fast crochet Dish/Face Cloth Free Pattern that you can whip up in just about 30 minutes or less!!  Using 2 strands of cotton yarn this Thick & Quick Bumpy Scrubby is easy to make and will be ready to use or  give as a gift in the same day…

Measures 6″ x 6 1/2″

Materials:

100 yards each ~ 2 colors of cotton worsted weight yarn. I used Lily’s Cream and Sugar.

I Hook

Scissors

Stitches:

sc ~ Single Crochet     ch ~ Chain     trc ~ Triple Crochet     st ~ Stitch     sl st ~ Slip Stich

Instructions:

Holding 2 strands of yarn together…

Ch 16

Row 1:  Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each across. = 15 sc

Row 2:  Ch 1, turn, sc in first st, *trc in next st(making sure the bump is to the front),sc in next st*, repeat * * across. = 8 sc & 7 trc

Row 3:  Ch 1, turn, sc across. = 15 sc

Rows 4 – 11  Repeat rows 2 & 3

Edging:

Working down the first side:

Ch 1, 10 sc worked evenly down the side of rows, 3 sc in 1st corner st, sc in next 13 sts, 3 sc in 2nd corner st, 10 sc spaced evenly across the second side of rows, 3 sc in 3rd corner st, sc in next 13 sts, 3 sc in last corner st. Join with sl st. Finish off and weave in ends.

Congratulations!!  You have now completed a Thick & Quick Bumpy Scrubby!!

Whoop, Whoop,,, The Lion Brand Summer 2015 CAL Week 5 is Here!!

Another exciting project is now complete… I was so honored when Lion Brand Yarn asked me to host their Summer 2015 Crochet Along!!  In 5 weeks we made the Sabrina Tunic and I am so happy with the way mine turned out!!  What do you think??

I hope you will hop over and read my blog post on Lion Brand Yarns site to read all about my Week 5  The Finishing Touches!!   Crochet Alongs are a great way to make a project with out getting overwhelmed!!  Now I have a fun Fall tunic to wear and believe me… This is one crochet garment I will be wearing many times!!
