Making The 6 Day Star Blanket… Section 4!

Making The 6 Day Star Blanket… Section 4!

I’m Making The 6 Day Star Blanket! I now have completed the 9 set up rounds and the 3rd six round repeat and it is looking better than I could have imagined! I hope you may consider joining me and let’s make this together…

This is the 6 Day Star Blanket by Betty McKnit… I won’t finish in 6 days, to much life, gardening, other designs and spending time with friends and family. So, I decided to set a timer to see how long this will take! This section took 2 hour 20 mins…

That is a total of 7 hours 55 mins so far. I am sure as I get further along each 6 round section will take longer due to the increase in stitches!

I decided to use 7 colors of my stash to make this… 2 rounds of each color once I started the 6 round repeat…

So far… I love this!!! I did the 9 set up rounds and first 3 – 6 round repeats(27 rounds total) using an H hook. Starting this section, I switched to an I hook… She(Betty McKnit) recommends potentially sizing up your hook as the project gets bigger to avoid curling.

At the end of this section, it measures 41″ from point to point, last measurement was 33″. With a cute border this could almost be a baby blanket! 9 rounds of set up and 18 rounds of the continued repeats for a total of 27 rounds!!!

I would love if you join me over on my Beatrice Ryan Designs CAL Group and make this with me!!! Working at our own pace, I’m not trying to finish this project in 6 days…. Just a bit each day

If you would like to join me or make this in the future…. Here is the link for the 6 Day Star Blanket by Betty McKnit on Ravelry… Free or PDF purchase

Stay tuned for my 4th round of repeats!!! You can come back here or get the post links by email by using the “Stay Connected” in the righthand sidebar to get all my posts by email… Or like I said… Join my CAL Group to follow along or make this with me!!!
