A Summer of Crochet at My Etsy Shop!

I am always working on something new… I have been working hard to fill up my Etsy Shop with great summertime projects… I came home last night to two big boxes I had been waiting for… One had a new beautiful mannequin head and the other a mannequin body to style scarves, wraps and clothing items… The body is my size so I can create garments to fit even better… I was able to use them last night to photograph three of my latest Etsy listings… Here is a peek…

I was so excited to get my mannequins working,,, I took these photos last night… It was almost dark so the quality of the pictures didn’t show the vibrancy of the colors as well as I want,,, So I will be taking a few new photos today!

Summertime Crochet Shell!

So I finally finished the cute tank top I have been working on! It turned out better than I imagined it would! Usually when I make myself a garment it doesn’t fit as well as this one does… I made a couple adjustments to the pattern, but this is a super simple, quick pattern if you are looking for something to make for yourself this summer! It is on Ravelry for a free download, by Kim Guzman… Shell Shell is the name of the pattern…Click here to check it out. I made mine using a Black Cotton Yarn from Knit Picks! It is a little hard to see the details in the picture, but it is really cute… I am going to buy some bright Cami’s to where under it so it shows off the pattern! Tell me what you think!!!

I added some extra rows to the shoulder area and finished all the edges with a reverse sc, those were the only changes needed to make it to my taste!… This is a size small…

Not the best quality picture,,, But it is really a comfy cute Shell!

I am about halfway done with my next True Colors Afghan for my Etsy Shop… I will post the pictures when it’s done… Summer seems to be a slower time for crochet… But I still do a couple of hours each evening!

Crazy Good Mat Pattern Test….

A few days ago, I mentioned I was testing a pattern for one of my favorite Crochet Websites… Felted Button. The pattern is called Crazy Good Mat! It is a super cute project and I was so excited to work on this mat! I made a smaller version of the original pattern… The original pattern will be the size of an average mat… The one I made is 12″ x 12″… I am going to use it for a seat cover for my antique children’s rocking chair… My Grand Children will love it!
