I have several projects I am working on currently… The cute Shell I shared a few days ago and a new True Colors Afghan for My Etsy Shop!  One of my favorite sites The Felted Button writes really cute patterns.. A couple days ago she put out a call for testers for her new pattern Crazy Good Mat that will be released soon…And I volunteered!  I started it last night and my sample has to be done by Sunday evening… I wasn’t sure if I could complete a whole mat in time,,, So I am making a a pillow topper instead,,, It looks so cute so far!!…  I will post my test picture when I am done!

I am excited to make the full mat and will buy some yarn this weekend while I am in a town I can shop for yarn… I am trying to decide what color mat I want… Hmmmm…

I am enjoying this great weather and the garden so much!  Here in this small California mountain community, it’s in the mid 80’s- low 90’s.  That is a little warm for us around here!  I finally got my garden going and have been having a great time sprucing up the yard!

All the kids and grand-kids were home for this Fourth of July, We had a blast,,, Swimming, Slip-n-Sliding, Roasting Hot Dogs and Smores… I built a new brick patio last week and bought a new fire pit just in time for all the festivities!  I thought I would share a few photos with you!

So, what about Summertime Crochet??? I can’t just stop crocheting, But I do slow down a tiny bit in this nice weather!  I started the Shell Shell pattern by Kim Guzman on Ravelry, Click here to get the free pattern!

Just a few more rows and then the edging and it will be done!

And another really exciting note,,, I sold my first item at my Etsy Store this weekend!  Stop by and check it out! I have added several great items….Just click the ETSY Button on the sidebar of this blog to get to my store!  So… I started another afghan for the store… I loved the True Colors Afghan I gave to my grandson… So I thought I would make another…
