May Day… It’s another crafty day…

May,,, A beautiful month,,, Flower will begin to bloom,,, More sunshine,,, And my baby will turn 17 this month…

.

Like you know,,, I love to crochet… I have tried my hand at many other things and love to craft…  Alpine Originals keeps me quite busy with my crochet sales,,, but one of the other popular items I sell there are some adorable small boxes that I make out of Folded Sheets of beautiful paper… I make 3 sizes and yesterday they told me they were almost out of  my Hand Folded Boxes…

So,,, I sat down at the kitchen table and whipped up 12 boxes in no time at all…I love to see how each one turns out once they are folded and glued in place…

Day 7 Knit & Crochet Blog Week – 4KCBWDAY7

Today is the last day of the Knit & Crochet Blog Week Challenge… I can’t believe I was able to post all 7 days!  It has been fun and I hope you enjoyed it too!  Our last assignment,,, Day 7,,, Is to talk about “Where we would like to be 1 year from now with our Crafting”…

I have already stretched myself this year by opening my blog and life up to all the world with my crochet… It has been a great experience so far…  But, my main goal in the next few months is to get my Etsy Store up and going… It isn’t so much the work it will take to get the store open,, Its more having enough crochet products  available…  Thanks to  my friends at our local store Alpine Originals, I sell many pieces each month there… So I will have to step up my game and get some things going for online sales… Who knows, all this crocheting could work into a full-time job at the rate I am going…

Since my topic for the last day is asking about the future, I didn’t have any pictures to post to go with the subject,,,, So, I though I would show you a few pictures from my life… Hope you enjoy!

Also, this morning I attended a great sermon at church and an all church barbeque… It was so fun and great to have some time to visit with all my friends!  But, unfortunately I don’t have pictures to share…

So here is to What is in the future, My daily life and hanging out with my friends at Church!  Now it’s off to Crochet,,, Can’t Wait!!!

Another Busy Day for this Bee! Day 6 Knit & Crochet Blog Week… 4KCBWDAY6

    Once again I have a busy Bee! I worked on my Crochet-A-Long Ocean Waves Afghan Challenge and completed a set of Pink Face Cloths for Alpine Originals…  Some time soon I would like to get my Etsy Store up and going,,, But, I will have to find a little time to do that in my busy schedule!

I was very blessed today to attend one of my dearest friends 70th Birthday party… We all had a fabulous lunch and lots of laughs!  Yesterday was a Varsity Track Meet for my 17 Year Old Daughter… That is always a fun time together and there was finally plenty of Sun… I think Spring has arrived…

So,,, Today’s assignment for the Knit & Crochet Blog Week Challenge is to talk about your favorite tool… Hands down my favorite tool are these Great Wooden Crochet Hooks!  I am building my set and only have a few, but I love working with them far more than any others I have used!  They are very comfortable in my hand and  pick up the yarn perfectly…
