August 2026 Crochet and More!

August 2026 was a busy month… 4 New Crochet Patterns and 10 Squares for the Eye of the Storm CAL, plus a fun trip!

August 2026 Free Patterns in Review!!!!

I was so excited to be able to crochet and design so much in August… I hope you all enjoyed the patterns and will be making them!

Amazing Grace Bucket Hat… Made from cotton yarn, simple stitching and as usual… The Amazing Grace Patterns are all dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness! Easy to make and fun to wear!!! Free pattern on the website

Simple Crochet Placemat… A fun and stylish placemat! It is beginner friendly and quick to make. It is a one skein per placemat project and used cotton yarn! Basic crochet stitches, yarn, hook and the easy to read pattern is all you need to whip this up in just a couple of hours! Free Pattern on the website

Designer Camo Bag…. A large tote style bag, Fun textual stitching, decorate with bobbles to set it off! This pattern is free and also has a paid pdf available!

Crochet Acorn Pillow… Just in time for Fall Decorating! This is a simple, fun pattern! Free on the website! I used my stash to make this one!!! I am in love!!!

The Eye of the Storm Afghan CAL… The first 5 weeks were completed in August… This CAL has options… You can make as many squares as you like to make the right size afghan for your home! I am making mine extra large, 2 squares per week and a total of 24 squares… August provided 10 of the squares! You can join in anytime. Free pattern or paid pdf!

Next… Frank(my best friend) and I took a trip to Southern California for a week… Spent the day at the beach… Great meals and cocktails, shopped in the cute boutiques(I bought a dress) and did some antiquing. Then, headed to the cutest German Style Town on the way back (Solvang) and then into wine country for more great times!

I even bought a lovely Cuckoo Clock in that cute German Town I have always wanted one!!!!

Also, The beautiful mountain I live by always has the best clouds… Thought I would share a few!

I hope your August was fantastic… Stick around in September for more Free Crochet Patterns… I have a few on the hook now! And the September 2026 in Review post… Frank and I are headed on another trip… But I need to get my yard winterizes… Can’t believe it is that time already!
