Have you ever thought of your crochet season?? That’s when you tend to crochet more… mine is September-April… That’s not saying I don’t crochet the rest of the year… But, those colder months I have some sort of desire to work on things that keep me warm!! I can see that in our Facebook Fan Favorite Series... Each week over the last few months, there has been way more of you talking about and sharing these Daily Free Pattern finds… This weeks winner had almost 2000 comments, likes and views all on its own… And many of the other weekly finds had close to the same!! CAL News:

We are having so much fun working on our Crochet-A-Long!!!! Last Friday on our Facebook “Show and Tell”, There were so many beautiful pictures posted… I have had a sneak peek already of a few week two projects… love them!!! It isn’t to late to join in the fun,,, Week 1 and 2 pattern sections are posted in the Crochet-a-Long tab at the top of the page and are easily completed…

Also you can follow along with the other 118 members over on Ravelry… And we have our own Pinterest Page just for our CAL progress pictures… Hop over and check all the great pictures out!!! Charity Crochet and Friday Night Crochet-A-Long Fun…

Ahhhh,,, The weekend!! I love Fridays… It means I will have two days off from work and get to focus on Crochet for some true therapy!! This week I shared some pattern reviews and mentioned the hats that were made for the review would be going to charity… Each month I participate in ELK Studio From The Heart Charity Drive… Kathy Lashley founded this group several months ago. She has a Godly Heart and always is helping others!! She also is an excellent Crochet Designer… You can check out her designs at ELK Studio Handcrafted Crochet Designs…

This month our group is sending our donated Crochet Items to the Hosanna Home…Hosanna Home is simply what it says: A home, where we welcome in women with life controlling issues. We help them get their feet back on solid ground physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Beatrice Ryan Designs,,, Crochet-A-Long… Are you ready??

Just a few more days to go and our hooks will all be working on a new fabulous project!!!! Next Saturday (the 18th) I will post the first segment of the pattern for our Crochet-A-Long… This is a Free Crochet Pattern to all participants and the only requirement is that you have FUN! Thanks to all of you who voted for our Viewers Choice Crochet-A-Long!!! I was excited you chose an Afghan!! I have designed it, crocheted the first section and have written it for next Saturday!!!

If you haven’t done a Crochet-A-Long before… This is how it will work!…..

1.You can find the Materials List already posted in the Crochet-A-Long tab at the top of the page. As well as each weekly pattern post!

2.Each Saturday I will post the weekly segment of the pattern that you will complete by the next Friday.

3.Friday Evenings we will have Show and Tell on my Facebook Page… You can post comments and pictures on the designated Pinned Post on Facebook.

4.You can Join in on Ravelry in my CAL Group for more fun and discussions…

5.And… I have an official Pinterest Page where we can post and pin our CAL pictures!!! Beatrice Ryan Designs CAL 2014

6.One last thing… We will be having a vote at the end to name this afghan!!! So stay tuned and let’s have some fun!!!
