- Sl St ~ Slip Stitch
- HDC ~ Half Double Crochet
- DC ~ Double Crochet
- Rev Sc ~ Reverse Single Crochet
- Dec Hdc ~ Decrease Half Double Crochet : (yarn over, insert hook into next stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop) 2 times, yarn over, pull through all 5 loops on hook.
Instructions

1: HDC in 3rd Ch from hook, 7 Hdc in the same Ch space. Join with Sl St to beginning. = 8 Hdc

4: Ch 2, Hdc in Same St, Hdc in next 2 Sts, *2 Hdc in next St, Hdc in next 2 Sts*, Repeat * * around, Join with Sl St to beginning. = 32 Hdc
5: Ch 2, Hdc in Same St, Hdc in next 3 Sts, *2 Hdc in next St, Hdc in next 3 Sts*, Repeat * * around, Join with Sl St to beginning. = 40 Hdc
6: Ch 2, Hdc in each St around. Join with Sl St to beginning. = 40 Hdc
