- St – Stitch
- Sc – Single Crochet
- Fdsc – Foundation Single Crochet
- Blsc – Back Loop Sc
- Hdc – Half Double Crochet
- Fphdc – Front Post Hdc
- Bphdc – Back Post Hdc
- Dc – Double Crochet
- Fpdc – Front Post Dc
- Trc – Treble Crochet
- FO – Finish Off

Instructions for the Cozy Alpine Stitch Baby Blanket:
Row 1. Ch 102, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each across. =101 sc
Or
Row 1. 101 fdsc. = 101 fdsc
Row 2. Ch 2(this does not count as a stitch), turn, dc in each st across. = 101 dc
Row 3. Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. = 101 sc
Row 4. Ch 2, turn, *dc in st, fpdc around next st 2 rows below(see pic tutorial above)*, repeat *to* across, dc in last st. =51dc & 50 fpdc
Row 5. Ch 1, turn, sc across. – 101sc
Row 6. Ch 2, turn, dc in first 2 sts, *fpdc around next st 2 rows below, dc in next st*, repeat *to* across, dc in last st. = 52 dc & 49 fpdc
Row 7. Ch 1, turn, sc across. = 101 sc
Rows 8-31. Repeat rows 4-7 (6) times
Row 32. Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st across. = 101 hdc
Row 33. Ch 1, turn, hdc in first st, *ch 1, sk next st, hdc in next st*, repeat *to* across.= 51 hdc & 50 ch 1 sp
Row 34. Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st & ch 1 sp across. – 101 hdc
Row 35. Ch 1, turn, sc across. = 101 sc
Rows 36-41. Repeat rows 2-7
Rows 42-66. Repeat rows 4-7 (6) times
Rows 67-70. Repeat rows 32-25
Rows 71-76. Repeat rows 2-7
Rows 77-101. Repeat rows 4-7 (6) times
Edging

*Do Not Turn, Continue working down the row edge now working in the round
Row 102. 2 more sc in the same st(corner made), evenly sc 109 dow the side rows until you reach the first tt of row 1, 3 sc in first st of row 1(2nd corner), sc in next 99 sts, 3 sc in last st of row 1(3rd corner), evenly sc 109 sts up the side rows until you reach the first st of row 101, 2 sc in firs st of row 101(final corner), sl st to join. = 428 sc
Row 103. Ch 1, turn, sc in sl st just made, 3sc in next st(middle corner st), sc in next 111 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 101 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 111 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 100 sts, sl st to beginning sc. = 436 sc
Row 104. Ch 1, turn, hdc in same st, ch 1, sk st, *(hdc, ch 1, hdc, ch 1, hdc, ch 1) in corner st, (sk st, hdc in next st, ch 1 across to next corner)*, repeat *to* around to beginning hdc, join with sl st = 226 dc & 226 ch 1 sp
Row 105. Ch 1, turn, *hdc in each st and ch sp across, 2 hdc in middle st of corner*, repeat *to* around, hdc in last st, join with sl st. = 460 hdc
Row 106. Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st around and 3 hdc in each middle corner st, join with sl st. = 468 hdc
Row 107. Ch 1, turn, fphdc around 1st st, *bphdc around next st, [fphdc in next st*, repeat *to* across to middle corner st, (bphdc,fphdc,bphdc)around corner st-this is a little tricky, just take your time and make them loosely*], repeat [to] around until last corner, (fphdc,bphdc) across to the beginning st, join with sl st. =476 post sts
Row 108. Ch 1, do not turn, fphdc around each fphdc & bphdc around each bphdc, you will not increase in corners, just make the post sts in corners a bit loose. Join with sl st. = 476 sts
Row 109. Ch 1, do not turn, *blsc in each st and 3 blsc in each corner st around, join with sl st. = 484 blsc
Row 110. Ch 1, turn, *sc in next st, Trc in next st(push this stitch to the back to create a bobble)*, repeat *to* around, join with sl st. = 242 sc & 242 trc
