The busy crochet season is here… Several custom orders and time to stock my shops…  Last night I finished up an adorable Owl Hat custom order….  It always feels good to get a work in progress done and off to where it is going….  I love making these Owl Hats, they are cute and easy to make… The pattern I use can be found at one of my favorite blogs… Repeat Crafter Me… She has tons of great projects!

3-6  Month Size Owl Hat…Lavender and White

Also off the hook and to my Etsy Shop... Another Soft and Stylish Cowl…  I now have the pattern worked out and should have this FREE Pattern ready to post in the next couple days…  It is also really beautiful and very quick to work up… This Cowl was made using a slightly less bulky yarn Rated a (5) in yarn thickness,,, The previous Cowl’s were made using a (6),,, I actually like the Cowl’s that had the thickest yarn… They were way more “plush”… But, this is beautiful and I would wear it this fall!!

Crochet Hat Obsession….

.

Once again when I sat down to crochet last night, I pondered what to work on… I have several works in progress… Lots of things on the back burner and I really felt like whipping something quick up… again!

.

I loved the hat I made the day before! Kathy Lashley’s Hounds Tooth Hat from her Free Pattern Page at Elk Studio Handcrafted Crochet designs… I made some adjustments to make it feminine… I got a great response to the additions of the brim and flower…  But last night I really just wanted to make her pattern and follow it to see what I thought of just the beanie… Masculine or Feminine would only be determined by the colors…

This is my first hat with the feminine touch… Tuesday nights project!

.

I decided to go with my daughters school colors for the first hat of the night.. “Blue and Gold”… I loved the way it turned out!!!
