Charity Crochet and Friday Night Crochet-A-Long Fun…

Ahhhh,,, The weekend!! I love Fridays… It means I will have two days off from work and get to focus on Crochet for some true therapy!! This week I shared some pattern reviews and mentioned the hats that were made for the review would be going to charity… Each month I participate in ELK Studio From The Heart Charity Drive… Kathy Lashley founded this group several months ago. She has a Godly Heart and always is helping others!! She also is an excellent Crochet Designer… You can check out her designs at ELK Studio Handcrafted Crochet Designs…

This month our group is sending our donated Crochet Items to the Hosanna Home…Hosanna Home is simply what it says: A home, where we welcome in women with life controlling issues. We help them get their feet back on solid ground physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Sunday Afternoon Crochet…What’s on your hook??

Today I am finalizing our Crochet-A-Long week one pattern section!! I took the pictures and have been typing up the instructions for the first week… I can’t wait!!! I hope you will be joining in,,, This will be so much fun!!! I have chosen Vanna’s Choice Yarn to make mine.. I am loving it!!! Do you have your yarn and what are you using for this CAL??

Wednesday Facebook Fan Favorite… Week 21

As the Arctic Vortex whips through the United States and freezes a large part of our country, many of us are crocheting to pass the time while we are trying to stay warm…What a way to start the new year!!!! Today’s Facebook Fan Favorite it the first one for the year and it will keep you cozy in this chilly weather! This design is from one of my favorite designers,,, Bonita Patterns… She is famous for her Crocodile Stitch projects and I have made several of her patterns! This is a free one from her and well worth checking out!!! So here it is… Our first Fan Favorite for the year… Reversible Textured Slouch & Crocodile Stitch DOUBLE LAYERED Flower by Bonita Patterns! Don’t you love this hat?? I do and the flower is made from her signature Crocodile Stitch Pattern!!! This will definitely be on my to-do a list for this year!!.

And,,, Hang out on Ravelry too… We have a large group of you who have joined over there… It will be another great place to hang out and crochet!! I am beyond excited!! I have written and crocheted the first weeks section and will be taking the pictures this weekend…
