*When joining rows 2-5, you will join around the “top” of the ch 3 and not “in” the top of ch 3. this will make the beginning st of each round look like a FPdc.

*This fits an average size leg and is made to be stretchy.  Ribbing 11 1/2″, Mid section 12 1/2″ both unstretched. Fits 16 1/2″ size calf comfortably.

Crochet with Me!! Crochet-A-Long… Week 8

Crochet with Me!! Crochet-A-Long… Week 8

Welcome back to our Crochet with Me!! Crochet-A-Long…  As we finish up this weeks assignment,  we will be 3/4 of the way done with our project… Can you believe it??  I am really loving my afghan and each week I am enjoying the process of  the few hours it takes to complete!!  I hope you are loving it too!!

Crochet with Me week 8

For our weekly housekeeping I will address a question I had this week….  Some of us have wondered about  the yardage and needed to buy yarn to continue.  Some people are making this scrappy, others are doing monochrome or 2 color,,, The rest of us are doing the 3 color.  As listed in the original directions, We will be very close to the estimated amount I stated in the directions…. I purchased 3 skeins each of my Boysenberry and Peacock and at the end of week 8 I have used 2 of each and will have to start with my 3rd skeins for week 9, I will have plenty of each to finish the project… For my Eggshell which is my main color, I originally purchased 5 skeins and at the end of week 8~ I am in my 3rd skein.  I will need my 4th skein for sure and think I will have to go into my 5th skein by the end… I hope that helps with any questions about yarn!!

This week we are back to a quick work up of the rows… The last couple of weeks our shells and chains were a lot of work and many people are still catching up!  So I think you will all be happy to have an easy week!!
