Life of a Crochet Addict… Week2!

Hey Crochet Friends!!! I hope you week was fantastic and filled with tons of fun last days of Summer things!

I had a great week spending time with friends, lake time with my bestie Mr. B and kicking back at home with miss Ziggy and of course… Crocheting!

Also, I can’t wait to share some of the pics I took and my upcoming Crochet projects! I hope you are enjoying this new weekly adventure as I share my life, crocheting, homemaking and gardening with you!

Make sure you get all of my posts sent directly to your email…

Here is how my week played out… Don’t miss the pictures at the bottom of upcoming patterns!

Firstly, I was really excited because Mr. B(one of my all time besties) invited me down to do some lake time for a few days and one of his life long friends was coming up to… In addition, our good friends S & J came up to his house to do lake days too… We had a blast… so much that I forgot to to get pics… But, I did get some of a lake day just Mr. B and I had… wait until you see the ducks!

We enjoyed the lake so much, spent the whole day just relaxing… and then…..

These two beautiful ducks joined us… but that’s not all they did…

They joined me on the back boat deck…. and….

Mr. B decided to come check them out too… But the funniest part comes next in the video below…

Both of us were laughing so hard!!!!

Of course stayed as long as we could… Eating our snacks, having a couple drinks and lastly enjoying the sunset!

One of the evenings I was there Mr. B and I went out to dinner and drinks with our friends S & J… Love them to pieces… Hope to see them again soon!

Mr. B lives just about an hour down the canyon from me… My little town Mt. Shasta is sweet and quaint, but I do most of my shopping down the canyon… One of the days that is exactly how we spent our day, Shopping… Fun!

I headed back up the hill on Tuesday morning because I had plans for lunch with my good friend Ms R.. Always love spending time with her!

This is a pic of Mt Shasta coming up the canyon on Tuesday… about 15 miles from home!

Here she is, Mt Shasta… Cloudy Summer Evening!

Once I arrived back home, I had to tend to the garden and house… and of course get crocheting! My garden produces way more than I can eat, so I do share… but also freeze dry a lot of it for future use! And Miss Ziggy was very happy I was home!

Life of a Crochet Addict-Week 1

Life of a Crochet Addict-Week 1

Life of a Crochet Addict-Week 1… I thought it would be so much fun to share my life with my loyal fans! I started crocheting over 50 years ago… And started Beatrice Ryan Designs on February 14, 2013! If you would like to read my first post “Love of Crochet” Click Here!

My first post has this picture!

Now that my 3 children are all grown and have spouses and children of their own life is much different ! I also retired a couple of years ago, have been having a blast with mini trips, remodeling my house and landscaping my yard… And most importantly, let’s not forget still crocheting! I can’t wait to share tidbits with you each week!

So, here is a little bit of what this first week looked like in my life… Firstly, our family started a hardware store in August of 1945 by my Grandfather, Next my dad continued to run it in the 50’s and grew it into a very awesome Ace Hardware in the 70’s… Presently my youngest brother has been running it for the last decade and has done a wonderful job!

Last Saturday we celebrated 80 years of Same Family Ownership in the Same Location, with 5 Generations of us now working there!

Below is a picture we took of my brothers and my self holding a picture for the late 60’s next to the store!

Additionally, Saturday evening I had the pleasure of attending my best friends Steve and Clarann’s 40th wedding anniversary… So much fun!

Also, I had a blast with my 4 year old grandson having his first sleepover(I can’t share photos yet until I get my kids permission). Additionally, I worked in my new garden area and yard and freeze dried shredded zucchini and jalapeño’s.

Still lots to do in my garden, I bought our family home last winter and have been remodeling and landscaping for months now! Eventually I will have it all set up and the shrubs and plants will be amazing!

Of course I have been crocheting… Working on a new pattern that should post soon!!!!. Last night I was enjoying my patio and crocheting!

And, finally at the end of the day my cat Ziggy likes to crash out on my lap or the blanket next to me! Until she decides she want something to eat!

One of the new health things I started this week to help with my joints, bone density, lymphatic drainage, circulation and other age related things… I bought a vibration plate…. Surprisingly I love it… I started at the easiest program for 15 minutes a day… I do feel great after each session… Click here if you would like to have one for your home!

Tomorrow I will be headed down the road about 60 miles to spend the weekend with the person I have been dating/bestfriend off and on for the last few years,,, We will be doing a lot of fun adventures and I will hopefully post about that next week! Lake time, great food and a little shopping!I
